How it works

Why convert images to PDF here
Your images are placed into the PDF by your own browser and never sent to a server. JPGs go in unchanged, without re-compression, so the PDF looks exactly as sharp as your photos.
Photos taken sideways on a phone are turned upright automatically, using the orientation the camera saved.
Choosing a page size
A4 (210 × 297 mm) is the standard almost everywhere; US Letter (8.5 × 11 in, 216 × 279 mm) is used in the US and Canada. Images are centred with a 24-point (about 8 mm) margin, landscape photos get landscape pages, and small images are never enlarged, so they stay sharp.
Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its picture, which is best for reading on screens rather than printing.
File size
Because JPGs are embedded unchanged, the PDF is about as large as your images added together: ten 3 MB phone photos make a PDF of roughly 30 MB. To send it by email, run the result through Compress PDF, or shrink the photos first with Compress Image.
Frequently asked questions
Will my photos lose quality?
No. JPG images are placed into the PDF exactly as they are, without re-compression.
Can I put several images into one PDF?
Yes. Add as many as you need; each image becomes one page, in the order shown in the list.
What about iPhone photos (HEIC)?
When you choose from Photos or take a photo on iPhone here, iOS hands over a JPG automatically, so there is nothing to convert first.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is created in your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to us or anyone else.
