About OS Authority

OS Authority is a small independent project based in Malaysia, not part of a larger company. The tools are free because the site may show ads (see the Privacy page). We don't sell or share data, and we never receive your files or the numbers you type.

Every tool runs inside your web browser. When you choose a file, it is read and processed by code running on your phone, tablet or computer, not on our servers. The result is created on your device and saved directly from it.

We never receive your files, their names or their contents. We count page visits to learn which tools are useful; the Privacy page explains exactly what is collected.

Before every release, each tool is tested automatically: the processing code with sample files, including damaged and password-protected ones, and every page in real browser engines at seven phone, tablet and desktop sizes, with accessibility checks. Calculators are checked against published reference values, and the worked examples on their pages are calculated by the same code you use, so they always match. Browser checks use emulated screen sizes in browser engines; they do not establish testing on every physical phone, tablet or computer.

Health and finance calculators name the formulas and sources they use, with links, and every tool page shows when it was last reviewed. Health calculators give estimates for adults and are not reviewed by a clinician; they are not medical advice.

Pages are available in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi and Bengali. Language editing uses AI assistance alongside automated checks for structure, placeholders and content consistency. These checks do not establish independent human native-speaker review. Native-speaker corrections are welcome through the contact page, and a tool may appear in English before other languages.

If a result, formula or translation looks wrong, tell us through the Contact page with the page address and what you expected. We check every report, fix confirmed mistakes, and the page's "Last reviewed" date changes when a correction goes live.
