Why resize here

Your photos never leave your phone or computer, and camera location data (EXIF) is not copied into the resized images. It is free, with no watermark and no account.

Choosing a size

1920 pixels suits full-screen viewing and most websites; 1280 is plenty for email, blogs and social media; 800 fits forms and thumbnails. A 12-megapixel phone photo (4032 × 3024) resized to 1280 becomes 1280 × 960 and usually shrinks from 3–4 MB to about 200–400 KB. Images smaller than the chosen size are never enlarged.

Formats

JPG stays JPG. PNG and WebP images without transparency are saved as JPG for a smaller file; images with transparency stay PNG.

Frequently asked questions

Does resizing keep the proportions?

Yes. The long side is set to your chosen size and the other side follows, so nothing is stretched.

Will small images be enlarged?

No. If an image is already smaller than the size you pick, it keeps its original dimensions.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device.
