Circle crop image

Frame a face or logo inside a circle. Move the square crop on your photo, check the round preview and download a PNG with transparent corners.

Your image and captions are processed on this device and never uploaded. We do not see, store or log your files.

How it works

  1. Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC/HEIF photo.
  2. Move the square crop with touch or mouse, or type its X, Y, width and height in source pixels.
  3. Check the circular preview. The output uses the same square crop dimensions without enlargement.
  4. Choose Circle crop image, then download or share the transparent PNG.

A round picture on a square canvas

PNG images remain rectangular files. A 600 × 600 crop creates a 600 × 600 PNG, with a circular image and transparent corners. The circle has a smooth antialiased edge; services that flatten transparency may show a background color.

Exact source pixels

Crop coordinates use the orientation shown in your photo gallery. Width and height stay equal. Cropping a 4032 × 3024 photo to a 1200 × 1200 circle retains those source pixels without enlarging them.

Private, bounded image editing

The image is checked before decoding. Large photos may exceed the device pixel limit: 8 million pixels on phones, 16 million on tablets and 24 million on computers. The export removes camera metadata, including location, and always uses PNG.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move the crop without dragging?

Yes. Use the four labeled coordinate fields. Changing width or height keeps the crop square and within the image.

Why does the PNG still look square in a file manager?

The file has a square canvas. Its corners are transparent, and some file viewers show a checkerboard or solid background there.

Does circle cropping increase resolution?

No. The export uses the selected source pixels at their original size. Choose a larger crop if you need more output pixels.
