Resize your signature for online forms

Exam and job forms want a signature at an exact size, often 140 × 60 pixels and between 10 and 20 KB. Crop your signature and get a JPG that meets both limits.

Your signature is processed on this device and never uploaded. We don't see, store or log your files.

How it works

  1. Sign on plain white paper with a black or dark blue pen and take a photo, or choose a scan.
  2. Pick the form's size: 140 × 60 px (10–20 KB), custom pixels, or a size in cm.
  3. Move the box so your signature fills it with a little white space around it.
  4. Tap Resize signature, then download the JPG for your form.

Why resize here

Your signature never leaves your phone or computer, which matters for something that can be misused. It is free, with no watermark and no sign-up.

Sizes forms ask for

Many exam and job portals (SSC, IBPS and bank forms, for example) ask for 140 × 60 pixels and 10–20 KB. Others give a size in centimetres, such as 3.5 × 1.5 cm: at 300 DPI that is 413 × 177 pixels, at 200 DPI 276 × 118 pixels. Always check the form's own instructions and enter those numbers under Custom.

Why a small file is made bigger

A clean 140 × 60 signature is often under 10 KB as a JPG, and forms with a 10 KB minimum reject it. When the file is below the minimum you set, the tool adds a blank comment block inside the JPG to reach it. The picture is unchanged and every viewer ignores the block. When the file is too big, the quality is lowered instead; the pixels always stay at the exact size you chose.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my form say the signature is too small?

Its minimum (often 10 KB) is larger than a small signature JPG. Set that minimum here and the file is padded to reach it without changing the picture.

Can it remove the background?

It places your signature on white. For a clean result, sign on plain white paper in good light and crop close to the ink.

Can I resize a photo for the same form?

Yes: use Passport Photo Maker for the photo, and Compress Image to KB for its file size.

Is my signature uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device.
