Turn HEIC images into a PDF

Combine iPhone HEIC photos, such as receipts, documents or notes, into a single PDF that opens on any computer. Everything happens in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded.

Your images are turned into a PDF on this device and never uploaded. We don't see, store or log your files.

How it works

  1. Tap Choose files and pick one or more HEIC images, or drop them onto the page.
  2. Put the pages in order with the arrows.
  3. Choose a page size: A4, US Letter or Fit to image.
  4. Tap Convert to PDF, then Download or Share the file.

Why convert HEIC to PDF here

Your photos are turned into a PDF by your own browser and never sent to a server. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how often you use it.

What happens to each image

PDF can't hold HEIC images, so each photo is converted to a JPG at quality 90 first, with its saved rotation applied so pages come out upright. The PDF keeps the pictures only, not the date, camera or location stored in the photos.

You can add up to 20 photos at a time on a phone, 50 on a tablet and 100 on a computer. Phones handle photos up to 50 megapixels, which covers the 48-megapixel main camera of recent iPhones (8064 × 6048).

Choosing a page size

A4 (210 × 297 mm) is the standard almost everywhere; US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is used in the US and Canada. Images are centred with a margin of about 8 mm, landscape images get landscape pages, and small images are never enlarged. Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its picture, which is best for reading on screens.

Keeping the PDF under a size limit

Forms often cap uploads at 100 KB, 500 KB or 1 MB. Choose a maximum PDF size and the images are re-compressed until the PDF fits. If the limit is too small for the number of images, you get the smallest PDF we could make and the result says so.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put several images into one PDF?

Yes. Each image becomes one page, in the order shown in the list.

Will the images lose quality?

Very little. Each image is stored as a JPG at quality 90 inside the PDF, which looks the same at normal sizes.

What about JPG and PNG images?

Use JPG to PDF for those: it places them in the PDF without any re-compression.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDF is created in your browser on your own device.
