Generate random numbers

Pick a winner, roll a die, choose lottery-style numbers or sample a list. Set the range and how many numbers you want, and decide whether a number may come up twice.

Calculations run on this device. We don't see, store or log the numbers you enter.

How it works

  1. Enter the lowest and highest number.
  2. Enter how many numbers you want.
  3. Tick No repeats or Sort if needed, then tap Generate.

Why use this generator

Numbers come from your browser's cryptographically secure random generator, not the predictable Math.random many sites use, and each draw is equally likely (no bias towards low numbers). Everything happens on your device.

Ranges and repeats

Both ends are included: 1 to 6 can give 1 and 6, like a die. With No repeats, every number appears at most once, so you can't ask for more numbers than the range holds: 10 unique numbers from 1 to 10 is a shuffle of all ten. Up to 1,000 numbers can be drawn at a time. For a raffle with 250 tickets, draw 3 unique numbers from 1 to 250 for first, second and third prize.

Frequently asked questions

Is it truly random?

It uses the browser's cryptographic random source (crypto.getRandomValues), which is suitable for security keys; nobody, including us, can predict or influence the result.

Can I use negative numbers?

Yes. Any whole numbers work, for example −50 to 50.

Can I use it for an official draw?

For informal draws, yes. Official lotteries and prize draws may need an audited process; check the rules that apply to you.

Are the numbers stored?

No. They exist only on your screen.
