Count the pages in your PDFs
Add one PDF or a whole batch and see how many pages each has, with the total. Handy for printing quotes, translation and scanning jobs, or checking an upload limit. Nothing is uploaded.
Your PDFs are read on this device and never uploaded. We don't see, store or log your files.
How it works
- Tap Choose files and pick one or more PDFs, or drop a batch onto the page.
- Tap Count pages.
- Read the count for each file and the total.
- Copy the list, or download it as a CSV for Excel or Google Sheets.
Why count pages here
Your PDFs are read by your own browser and never uploaded, so confidential documents can be counted too. There is no account and no limit on how often you use it.
Batches and limits
You can count up to 20 PDFs at a time on a phone, 50 on a tablet and 100 on a computer. Only the list of pages is read, not the pages themselves, so even long PDFs are counted in moments.
Password-protected and damaged files
PDFs that need a password to open still show their page count. A file that isn't a PDF or is too damaged to read gets its own line saying so, and the others are counted as normal.
Using the CSV
The CSV has one row per file, with its name and page count. It opens in Excel and Google Sheets, including file names in Arabic, Urdu and other scripts.
Frequently asked questions
Does it count blank pages?
Yes. Every page in the file counts, whatever is on it.
Can it tell colour pages from black and white?
Not yet. It counts all pages.
Are my PDFs opened or changed?
Only read. Nothing is changed or saved.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device.
