Including the end date
From 1 May to 3 May is 2 days, but a trip from 1 May to 3 May lasts 3 days because both days count. Tick Include the end date for trips, leave, rental periods and anything counted in calendar days on both ends.
Examples
From 1 January to 31 December 2026 is 364 days (365 with the end date). From 28 September 2026 to 25 December 2026 is 88 days, or 12 weeks and 4 days. Leap years add a day: 2028 has 366 days.
Working days
This calculator counts calendar days. Weekends and public holidays differ between countries (Friday–Saturday in several Gulf states, Saturday–Sunday elsewhere), so subtract them for business-day deadlines.
Frequently asked questions
Can the end date be before the start date?
Yes. The dates are swapped automatically, and the result shows how many days lie between them.
How many weeks is 100 days?
14 weeks and 2 days.
Does daylight saving time change the result?
No. Whole calendar days are counted, so time changes never add or remove a day.
